CCET 1.5TM

The Compressible Chemical Equilibrium and Transport code calculates thermodynamic and transport properties for a mixture in chemical equilibrium, including the dense gas correction.  This code also calculates the chemical potential, B values, for the thermo-chemical erosion analyses.

Improvements to the CCET 1.5TM code include the addition of reflected detonation waves, oblique shock calculations, and a scram jet option.  Density Isp is now an output of the Rocket problem application.

With respect to erosion analyses, the CCET 1.5TM code replaces both the BLAKE and ODE analysis in SEA gun erosion methodology. Recent modifications to the CCET 1.5TM code include a reactants gun library, revised gas wall enthalpy calculation, and a selection criterion for calculating the chemical ablation potential.  The CCET 1.5TM code is continuously being updated to reflect the changing needs of its users.  Most of the recent changes have been a direct result of the special requirements of the gun community.  Most of the enhancements identified last year (such as implementing all the NASA/LeRC CEA code applications and including the new high temperature thermodynamic data from the CEA code) have been completed.

The CCET 1.5TM code is available on the following UNIX workstations:

and on Pentium and higher PC platforms using the Windows 95/98 or Windows NT 4.0 operating systems.  For other operating systems, SEA will port CCET 1.5TM for an additional fee.
